ADDICT
MIAMI, Florida
Materials & approach
The material palette was developed through a deliberate contrast between raw urban references and a more refined, gallery-like expression. The urban universe is reinterpreted through cast plaster basketballs mounted directly onto mirrored walls. Dark textured finishes, brushed stainless steel, warm wood, mirrors, and soft upholstery create a balance between raw energy and refined luxury. Focused lighting gives each product the presence of a collectible object.
The Dialogue Between Art & Space
Custom-made shelving structures shape the entire scenography, inviting visitors to move through the store in a fluid, almost winding path. Their transparency creates distinct sub-spaces without closing off the volume, while the mirrored walls, plaster basketballs, and curated displays blur the line between retail, architecture, and art installation.
ADDICT - Retail Design
Designed as a dialogue between luxury retail and urban culture, ADDICT Miami transforms the sneaker store into an immersive, highly curated environment.
The space is built around a strong contrast of materials: dark textured walls, brushed metal shelving, smoked mirrors, warm wood, and soft sculptural upholstery.
The mirrored surfaces extend the perspective and multiply the displays, while the stainless-steel structures create a precise architectural rhythm throughout the boutique.
Basketball references are reinterpreted as sculptural elements. Hoops, chain nets, and cast plaster basketballs become part of the architecture rather than simple decoration, creating a distinctive visual identity rooted in street culture.
Warm, focused lighting highlights each sneaker like a collectible object. The result is a space that feels at once raw and refined, combining the energy of sport with the atmosphere of a contemporary design gallery.
