During Paris Design Week 2022, Meteor Studio, working closely with architect Isabelle Stanislas, was invited to create a unique brass object for an exhibition first presented at the Jardin de Sully, and later at the National Archives Museum in Paris, as part of an event organized by ELLE Décoration magazine.
Crafted by some of France’s finest artisans at Atelier Pouénat, the piece consists of two brass plates mounted on a pivot. Engraved on their inner faces, they reveal the information they contain only when set in motion.
Web 3.0 and the Ethereum blockchain take physical form through this minimalist and enigmatic design, both inspired by and directly connected to an NFT.
The object contains the essential information relating to the architectural project designed by Isabelle Stanislas for the event: a modular and open space shaped by Japanese influences, a major source of inspiration for the renowned architect.
